Our Level I Bonny Method GIM course is accredited by Association of Music & Imagery (AMI). We are thrilled to have Prof. Denise Grocke as our primary trainer, one of the esteemed GIM practitioner and scholar in the Asia-Pacific region.

It will be our 2nd time organizing this, and from our successful 1st retreat we had a 12 participants from Singapore, USA, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Level I is a 36 hour intensive residential training. It is the foundation for the entire training program and can be taken either for personal or professional development.

About the trainers

Professor Dr. Denise Grocke PhD, RGIMT, RMT, FAMI
Denise is the Director of Guided Imagery and Music training at the University of Melbourne. She is co-author of Receptive Methods in Music Therapy (2007), and co-editor of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (2002).

Carolyn Van Dort MA, RGIMT, RMT
Carolyn is listed on the PACFA register of Psychotherapists & Counsellors, and has 20 years experience in Music Therapy and Guided Imagery and Music. She works as a psychotherapist in private practice and community groups using music and mindfulness.

FAQ

1. How do I apply?
Please use the online registration form, with 2 referee forms (1 Professional, 1 Character). Applications will be vetted through by trainers and interviews may be conducted if necessary.

2. How do I make payment?
You are required to make payment in full within one week after a place is offered. Only Telegraphic Transfers (overseas) or Internet Banking (local) are accepted. Details for payment will be provided upon acceptance of application.

Terms & Conditions:
1. Price includes twin-sharing, air-conditioned accommodation with ensuite bathrooms.
2.All meals are catered for. Airfare and transfers not included.
3. Cancellation will only be entertained due to medical reasons by Apr 30 2015 where 50% will be refundable.
4. AMTS reserves the right to make changes.
